Growth~

We just did an end-of-the-year measurement and weigh-in!

Danny grew 2" since the end of August and gained about 5 lbs.

Tamara grew 1/2" and gained about 3 lbs.

School's Out!!

May 21 marked the end to the 2012-2013 school year for our family!!

I think I am always just as ready for school to be over as the kids are!! :) But I really did enjoy this year and am actually excited about starting again in the Fall!! :)

Happy to be done with 6th and 8th grades!! :)

Last week, we attended the annual FPEA conference in Orlando, FL!

This was our lovely resort....

(normally, we could not afford a trip like this, but our group helps to pay for a good portion of the cost of the hotel, which is already discounted for FPEA members, and they also paid for 1 tank of gas and the parking fees!!) 

While we weren't able to get a room near the other two families who went a day before we did, we ended up getting a BIGGER room with an Atrium view!! :)

This is the first year the kids and Dan went along....they absolutely loved it!! :)

Tamara stayed in a room with one of the mom's and two of her girl friends.

Danny had his friend Dylan stay in our room with us.....

Well, technically, they didn't sleep in our room....both nights they slept out on the balcony to the sounds of the water falls in the atrium! :) They got some good sleep out there!

Friday night, our group went to Downtown Disney!

We saw this real life "statue". When Tamara went to stand by him for a pic, he turned, winked at us and put his hand on her shoulder! :) He was so funny!

Didn't see a whole lot of Danny all weekend. He and Dylan spent a lot of time walking around by themselves. Cell phones are great for times like that!! :)

After Downtown Disney, we ate supper at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse! It's expensive, but it was a great experience for the kids!

 Saturday was spent at more sessions and shopping in the Vendor Hall! We didn't purchase much curriculum for next year, but we know what direction we are taking! 

Because we'll be having one in high school, the curriculum is going to cost a little more than other years, but I am amazed at how God is working out the details!! :)
